Bard College at Simon's Rock graduated 166 students on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Bachelor of Arts degrees were awarded to 66 students and Associate of Arts degrees were awarded to 100 students.

Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following students on being named to the Honor Roll for the 23TW4 term. Honor Roll is a term-specific achievement that recognizes learners who excel at SNHU. It was established in 2022 to help recognize learners who do not qualify for President's List or Dean's List. Due to differences in term structures, SNHU's online and campus populations have different eligibility requirements for Honor Roll. Eligibility for the SNHU Honor Roll requires that a student earn an academic grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher for the term, and meet the following criteria. Campus Students: Part-time, coursework-only, and graduate students studying on campus are eligible for the Honor Roll. Full-time campus students (12+ credits) are not eligible for the Honor Roll, but may be eligible for President's List or Dean's List. Online Learners: Due to differences in term structures, full- and part-time undergraduate and all graduate online students and coursework-only learners are eligible for the Honor Roll. Please note: Full-time online undergraduate students who receive the Honor Roll may also be eligible for President's List or Dean's List. SNHU's President's and Dean's Lists require online students to accumulate 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6 and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Honor Roll is evaluated at the end of every term while Dean's List and President's List are evaluated at the end of each set of paired terms for online students. While acknowledgement of Honor Roll is an achievement, it is not a recognized university honor and has no bearing on eligibility for honor societies, Latin honors or Ceremonial honors at the time of conferral or during the Commencement Ceremony, or any notation on the student's academic transcript or diploma. Please see the university catalog for policies specific to Latin and Ceremonial Honors.

RIT conferred some 4,200 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 134th annual commencement celebration in May.

Nazareth College students earned their degrees at the 92nd Annual Commencement ceremony that took place at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY, on May 12, 2019.

A total of 1,553 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2019 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

The following students were named to the Dean's List at Paul Smith's College during the spring 2019 semester. Each earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this distinction.

Clarkson University awarded over 750 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees to students from 27 states, 22 countries and 57 New York state counties, this spring. (An additional 338 students received degrees this past winter and summer.)

Over 160 students were celebrated as part of the Kente Graduation Recognition Ceremony. Sponsored by the Department of Africana/Latino Studies, the Office of Equity and Inclusion and the Office of Student Diversity and Advocacy, the annual ceremony recognizes the achievements of SUNY Oneonta's diverse student population-African American, Latino, Asian and Native American (AALANA) students and non-AALANA students and allies.

A total of 27 SUNY Oneonta students studied abroad this spring through programs in 10 countries.

Lebanon Valley College is excited to welcome new students to campus for the Fall 2019 semester.

The following students were named to the Dean's List at Paul Smith's College during the fall 2018 semester. Each earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this distinction.

More than 300 graduates were recognized at SUNY Oneonta's Winter Commencement on December 2, 2018. Students who completed the requirements for bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and certificates of advanced study in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House.

Six members of Nazareth College's national history honor society presented original research papers at the New York/West Central Regional Phi Alpha Theta History Conference at the University of Buffalo in mid-April. The students include: Joshua Fess, Freddy Stein, Erika Klock, Sarah Dugas, Jacob Kabat, and Jessica McCane. There were 52 papers presented by students representing 13 colleges and universities in New York, Pennsylvania, and Canada. Joshua Fess won a "Best of the Conference" for his paper titled Regimental Trivialization: The Lost Legacy of Rochester's Eighth New York Volunteer Cavalry. Phi Alpha Theta is honor society for undergraduate and graduate students and professors of history. The society boasts over 400,000 members with around 9,000 new members joining each year through 970 national chapters.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the Fall 2018 semester. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5-grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

A total of 227 SUNY Oneonta students earned Provost's List honors for the fall 2018 semester. To qualify for the Provost's List, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

SUNY Oneonta recently recognized 83 students who have attained leadership milestones through the college's LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) program. LEAD@Oneonta is a comprehensive leadership program based on current research and guidelines from the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education. All students can choose to participate in the LEAD program, which aims to better prepare them for life after college by providing a comprehensive picture of leadership and the skills needed to be a good leader. Students can attain a silver, gold or platinum level. To attain each level, students must meet a mix of programmatic and experiential leadership requirements, including completion of online courses, attendance at educational events, and membership and leadership in one or more of SUNY Oneonta's 100+ student-run clubs and organizations. Completion of a leadership level is recognized on campus as a credential that can be used, for example, when running for office or applying for STEP (Student Travel for Excellence Program) funding. The program also provides students with a leadership record that can be submitted to potential employers.
