The following local residents were among the students who graduated from SUNY Oneonta following the spring 2018 semester. The college's commencement ceremony was held on Saturday, May 12.

Three SUNY Oneonta students have been awarded scholarships to travel to Thailand and intern with Sodexo thanks to funding provided by SUNY Oneonta Auxiliary Services.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2018 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

A total of 1,445 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2018 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

A total of 222 SUNY Oneonta students earned Provost's List honors for the spring 2018 semester. To qualify for the Provost's List, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Loyola University Maryland recognized the class of 2018 at its 166th Commencement Exercises on May 19, 2018.

RIT conferred 4,747 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 133rd annual commencement celebration in May.

Buffalo State College is pleased to recognize the following students who have been named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the spring semester 2018. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 855 students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Spring 2018 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by President Kristin G. Esterberg.

The following students were named to the Castleton University President's List for the spring semester of the 2017-18 academic year. To qualify for this highest academic honor, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 4.0.

Nazareth students named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List.

Nazareth College undergraduate students earned their bachelor's degrees at the 91st Annual Commencement ceremony that took place at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY, on May 13, 2018.

35 SUNY Potsdam students were recently inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda, the international honor society chartered expressly to recognize nontraditional students who are 24 years of age or older.

A total of 182 students received the SUNY Oneonta 2017-2018 Susan Sutton Smith Award for academic excellence. To be eligible for the award, a student must be a freshman, sophomore or junior with a grade-point average of 3.9 or higher.

Clarkson University awarded more than 200 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees to students from 34 states, 26 countries and 60 New York state counties, this fall on December 16th, 2017.

Buffalo State is proud to recognize the undergraduate students who have completed at least 45 credit hours (30 credit hours for transfer students) at Buffalo State and achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

More than 300 students met requirements for graduation from SUNY Oneonta following the Fall 2017 semester. Graduates were honored at a December recognition ceremony hosted by College President Nancy Kleniewski and held in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. They also are eligible to participate in the college's commencement on May 12.
